T minus 1 Week!

Technically, it’s T minus 6 days, but I meant to start writing this post yesterday 😉

It has been a whirlwind past 2 weeks! Just to recap where things are at today:

  • We parked the RV at Mendota Park on Thursday, August 27. We didn’t start staying right away because I had some plumbing and electrical projects to work on first.
  • We “moved into” the RV on Thursday, September 3 (just before Labor Day Weekend), and we’ve been sleeping in it every night since!
  • We spent most of Labor Day weekend alternating between hanging out with our parents at the campground (working on various RV projects) and packing up stuff at the house
  • The tenants who are renting our house start their lease on Tuesday, Sept 15 so we set our departure date as Saturday, Sept 19 (to give us a few days in town to help them settle in and address any concerns).
  • Due to a 14 consecutive day limit, we had to campground hop down to Lake Farm Park for 2 days this week.
  • We’ll stay at Mendota Park (where we are now) until we depart next Saturday!

We have lots more to write about the preparation process, but before we can write about it we have to go do it!  Stay tuned for more!
